MY PROCESS OF LEARNİNG ENGLİSH

                            MY PROCESS OF LEARNİNG ENGLİSH

I hope that this writing is guide to you how you can solve problems about to learning english. This way I understood to hard difficulty and solved it

Firstly I will clarify some sort of my tactic but when I do that , I am going to care of systematic clarify about to learning english otherwise everythings can be mix and you cannot understand what I am emphasize to significant things.
First of all, I believe that the learning motivation is so important to cath up to succes and if we couldn't establish çthis motivate in our mind whatever you do we cannot to learn english and even nothing without motivation. So you must be ready emotionally and curiously to go into to new phase in your life. Even now you can be know english language while you are reading this writing but everyone is know this solid truth that if you are not native speaker english, you have to improve yourself by day by even you are know because of there are days you feel like you’re very fluent, and days when you feel like you hesitate to find your words, even basic words.💭

Especially When I had struggled to learn English I faced many problems about learning but as result I figured out all problems and now feeling very comfortable about to speaking English .
Also I had some natural opportunity to learn very easily. I’m Kurdish, that`s why I can speaking         fluent English. This situation brings to me some opportunities because English and Kurdish languages are sharing same language family and When I started learning English, I lived in the Turkey and had English-speaking friends.

**In my opinion most important thing has happened when I was learning languages that I didn't learn lists of individual words. No vocabulary lists! I focused on learning chunks in context and in conversations. I focused on learning the expressions (the chunks) that I would need for the situations that I would meet during my trips.
First, I identified the situations that I would have. This way, I could prepare the expressions necessary to communicate fluently in those situations. This took about 10 minutes of thinking, and making a list of situations.

***Then, I looked for resources that focused on those situations ONLY. I didn't need to learn vocabulary for renting a car, for example, so I didn't bother. I looked for CDs to listen & repeat and I found a few podcast episodes that focused on my specific situations.

And I created my own vocabulary notebook where I sketchnoted conversations and expressions, to create a visual vocabulary collection, with full conversations.I only focused on the vocabulary and expressions that would be useful. This way, I could feel fluent and the conversation would flow easily.Because I mainly needed to speak the languages, I focused on speaking, listening and repeating to have the correct pronunciation and intonation.

The challenge is finding the resources that will teach you the language you need to learn for specific situations, and staying focused on that so you see results quickly.

It’s not always easy. I sometimes felt I needed to do a little bit of everything: reading elementary books in the language I was learning, watching TV in the language, listening to the radio in the language.  But often, that created frustration because I couldn’t understand much. And the language I picked up probably wouldn’t be immediately useful.

Time is always a challenge too. How do I find the time? How do I find the energy?

But I succeeded to find the time and energy by looking at my schedule to see what language activities I could fit into my schedule. Learning a language is a little like dieting and doing sport. You have to find the method and times that are easily compatible with your life. Sure, you have to make some small adjustments to your life to reach your goal, but you can’t just say “I’m going to do 1 hour of English every day” and hope to find an extra hour by magic. Yes, there were days I wasn’t motivated.

There were days I didn’t feel like talking to myself to learn a language. But I would always say “OK, just 3 minutes, that way I’m doing something today”. I would start with the intention to do just 3 minutes, but I often finished by doing more.

You don’t have to be rigid with your schedule, but you need to be consistent, you need to practice speaking, and you need to learn chunks, not individual words. That’s the fastest way to fluency.

I wish you the best of luck on your journey to fluency in English! It’s a wonderful objective, and can bring you so many opportunities for a rich life!

It’s a long, regular process, but fluency will come if you’re focused and consistent.

Have fun :-)
